MEET OUR PASTOR!
Reverend Kathleen A. Kuehl
The Rev. Kathleen A. Kuehl (Pastor Kathy) began her call to the United Lutheran Ministries of St. James, Brogue, and St. Paul (Lebanon), Felton, on January 1, 2016. A southern Pennsylvania native, she was ordained to Ministry of Word and Sacrament on June 4, 1994. Her first call was to Mt. Zion in Glasgow, PA. Her next call was to the Horner/Hoffman Parish in Somerset County, followed by a call to Immanuel, Williamstown, and St. Christopher, Lykens.

Pastor Kathy married her husband John in 1973 following their graduation from Gettysburg College. John has retired as a public-school band director and music teacher, and currently spends his time substitute teaching, directing community bands, and reading. With their two dogs, Sophie and Mitzi, they currently live with their daughter, Sharon, and son-in-law, Luis, in the Shiloh area of York. Their son, John, lives nearby with his family. Their older son, David, lives in Colorado with his wife and children.

Pastor Kathy is a second career pastor, graduating from the Lutheran Theological Seminary/Gettysburg in 1993. In her first career she taught music, directed church choir, taught Sunday School, and was an authorized lay worship leader in the Allegheny Synod. She has been involved in working with small congregations her entire adult life. Her stated purpose in life is to help people know that God loves them unconditionally.
